On April 27, 2023, the Ala-Too International University hosted an EcoFest – an event aimed at raising people's awareness of environmental issues and promoting an environmentally responsible lifestyle.

Within the framework of the festival, EcoTEDx was held, where speakers - Sabira Asanbekova, representative of ESG “Central Asia” WasteNet.KG, activist-blogger Pavel Isaenko, Olga Domashova, project manager of “Akmena” and etc. There was a fair of eco-goods and eco-food from local producers, an exchange of things and creative workshops. In addition to eco-games, the Paper2u workshop “How to make paper from receipts?” and a creative interactive from “waste” were held, where students gained valuable knowledge about ecology.

The exhibition was attended by 14 organizations such as Blossom.kg, Ethnic brand, Eco life, Tazar, GreenValley, etc. In the dynamic atmosphere of the event, students expanded their knowledge about ecology and received a lot of useful information.
